Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh pizza dough Brought to room temperature before stretching
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted slowly to act as the garlic base
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream Creates the smooth, rich sauce texture foundation
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Finely shredded for an even melt layer
  • 0.5 cup whole milk ricotta cheese Dropped in soft mounds across the top
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese Whisked directly into the warm cream base

Equipment

  • 1 pizza pan Standard round metal pan
  • 1 Saucepan Small stainless steel pan
  • 1 Wire whisk To blend sauce smoothly

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F before starting any ingredient prep.
  2. Stretch the fresh pizza dough into a circle across a greased pizza pan.
  3. Poke the surface of the dough thoroughly with a fork to prevent bubbles.
  4. Parbake the empty dough for five minutes until the surface turns lightly firm.
  5. Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low stove heat.
  6. Add minced garlic cloves to the butter, stirring until highly fragrant.
  7. Pour heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese into the pot, whisking until smooth.
  8. Spread the warm garlic white sauce evenly over your parbaked pizza crust.
  9. Scatter shredded mozzarella and whole milk ricotta dollops across the sauced surface.
  10. Bake at 450°F for twelve minutes until the borders turn golden brown.

Notes

Parbake the pizza dough for five minutes before adding the sauce to ensure the crust stays perfectly crispy and supports the rich toppings.
