Ingredients
10Mint leaves - Fresh only, not dried
2Lime wedges - For muddling
1tablespoonLime juice - Freshly squeezed preferred
1–2teaspoonSugar or syrup - Use simple syrup or raw sugar
1cupCrushed ice - Fill glass nearly to the top
1cupSparkling water - Or club soda
1sliceLime wheel - For garnish
1sprigMint - For garnish
1pinchSea salt - Optional, enhances hydration
Instructions
Gently wash and pat dry fresh mint leaves. Remove thick stems and count 8–10 leaves per drink.
Add mint, lime wedges, and sugar/syrup to a tall glass. Muddle gently with a wooden spoon.
Fill glass with crushed ice, pour in lime juice, and top slowly with sparkling water.
Add mint sprig and lime wheel. Insert a straw and serve immediately while fizzy.
