Equipment

  • 1 Large pitcher (For combining and serving the tea)
  • 1 Fine-mesh strainer (To remove mango pulp)
  • 1 High-speed blender (For smooth mango puree)
  • 1 Long spoon (For stirring tea and puree together)

Ingredients

  • 6 bags Black tea - Or 6 teaspoon loose leaf
  • 4 cups Boiling water - For steeping the tea
  • ¼ cup Honey - Adjust to taste while tea is warm
  • 2 Ripe mangoes - Peeled and cubed
  • ¼ cup Water - For blending mango
  • 2 tablespoon Lime juice - Freshly squeezed
  • 2 cups Cold water - To mix and chill
  • Ice cubes - For serving
  • Mango slices - Optional, for garnish
  • Lime wedges - Optional, for garnish
  • Fresh mint - Optional, for garnish

Instructions 

  • Steep black tea bags in 4 cups boiling water for 5–7 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and stir in honey until dissolved. Let cool.
  • Blend mango cubes with ¼ cup water until smooth.
  • Strain mango puree and mix in fresh lime juice.
  • In a pitcher, combine cooled tea with mango puree and 2 cups cold water.
  • Stir well and taste. Adjust sweetness or tartness as needed.
  • Serve over ice with optional mango slices, lime wedges, and mint.
