Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh whole strawberries rinsed and dried
  • 1 jar marshmallow fluff for coating
  • 12 wooden skewers for dipping handles
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar optional crunch

Equipment

  • 12 Wooden skewers For holding fruit
  • 1 Kitchen torch For toasting marshmallow
  • 1 Mixing bowl For marshmallow fluff

Method

  1. Rinse fresh strawberries thoroughly under cold running water to remove dirt.
  2. Pat each berry completely dry with a clean paper towel to remove moisture.
  3. Push a wooden skewer gently through the top stem end to secure the fruit.
  4. Spoon sticky marshmallow fluff into a tall, narrow glass bowl for dipping.
  5. Dip each skewered berry halfway into the fluffy white mixture smoothly.
  6. Rotate slowly to catch any drips and smooth the exterior surface.
  7. Hold a kitchen torch a few inches away to begin browning the fluff.
  8. Move the flame back and forth until golden brown spots form completely.

Notes

Ensure berries are completely dry before dipping so the marshmallow adheres properly.
