Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Flank steak - Sliced against grain
  • 2 large Bell peppers - Red and green, sliced
  • 1 medium Yellow onion - Sliced into strips
  • 3 tablespoon Soy sauce - Divided use
  • 2 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch - Divided use
  • 3 cloves Garlic - Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger - Minced
  • 3 tablespoon Vegetable oil - High smoke point
  • 2 whole Green onions - Sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon Rice wine - Or dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  • Garnish with green onions and serve over rice immediately.
  • Prep - Make sauce and cut vegetables into uniform strips.
  • Sear - Cook marinated beef in hot oil until just done, remove.
  • Stir-fry - Cook peppers and onions until crisp-tender.
  • Combine - Return beef to pan, add sauce, stir until glossy.
  • Serve - Garnish with green onions and serve over rice immediately.
