Method
- Heat milk, cream, and salt in a saucepan over medium-low heat until steaming (do not boil).
- Reduce heat to low; whisk in white chocolate chips and vanilla until completely melted and smooth.
- Whisk in strawberry puree (and food coloring if using) until combined and pink.
- Pour into mugs and top immediately with whipped cream.
- Sprinkle with crushed freeze-dried strawberries and serve warm.
Notes
Use freeze-dried strawberries for the topping to get that intense flavor and crunch seen in the photos. Do not boil the white chocolate.
