Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups whole milk Base liquid
  • ½ cup heavy cream For richness
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips High quality
  • cup strawberry puree Or high quality syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Flavor enhancer
  • 1 pinch salt Balances sweetness
  • 1 cup whipped cream Topping
  • 2 tablespoon freeze-dried strawberries Crushed topping

Method
 

  1. Heat milk, cream, and salt in a saucepan over medium-low heat until steaming (do not boil).
  2. Reduce heat to low; whisk in white chocolate chips and vanilla until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Whisk in strawberry puree (and food coloring if using) until combined and pink.
  4. Pour into mugs and top immediately with whipped cream.
  5. Sprinkle with crushed freeze-dried strawberries and serve warm.

Notes

Use freeze-dried strawberries for the topping to get that intense flavor and crunch seen in the photos. Do not boil the white chocolate.
