  • 1 cup Unsalted butter Softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup Powdered sugar For creaming with butter

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Beat butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in vanilla and almond extracts.
  3. Combine flour, almonds, and salt; mix until dough forms.
  4. Wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm.
  5. Roll dough into balls and make small indentations.
  6. Spoon ½ teaspoon jam into each indent and close dough around filling.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 12–15 minutes until bottoms are lightly golden.
  8. Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar.
  9. Once cool, roll again for full snowy finish.
