Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef - 80/20 blend
  • 1 packet Brooks chili seasoning
  • 2 medium onions - Diced
  • 4 cloves garlic - Minced
  • 2 cans kidney beans - 15 oz each
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes - 14.5 oz each
  • 1 can tomato sauce - 15 oz
  • 2 cups beef broth

Toppings:

  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 stalks green onions
  • 1 whole avocado

Instructions 

  • Step 1: Prep Base
  • Brown beef in Dutch oven
  • Drain excess fat
  • Add onions, cook until soft
  • Step 2: Add Seasoning
  • Add garlic
  • Stir in Brooks seasoning
  • Toast spices for 30 seconds
  • Step 3: Simmer
  • Add tomatoes, sauce, broth
  • Add beans
  • Simmer covered
  • Rest 10 minutes before serving
