Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 3 ½ cups All-purpose flour Plus extra for kneading
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • 1 cup Warm milk 110°F
  • ½ cup Pumpkin puree
  • cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs Room temperature
  • ¼ cup Butter Melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon For dough
  • ½ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
Filling
  • ½ cup Brown sugar Packed
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon For filling
  • 3 tablespoon Butter Softened, for filling
Cream Cheese Glaze
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • ¼ cup Butter Softened, for glaze
  • 1 ½ cups Powdered sugar For glaze
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract For glaze

Equipment

  • 2 Large mixing bowls For dough and rising

Method
 

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk with sugar until foamy
  2. Combine pumpkin, eggs, butter, and yeast mixture in bowl
  3. Add flour and spices, knead until smooth and elastic
  4. Let dough double in size in greased bowl, about 1 hour
  5. Roll into rectangle and spread with butter and cinnamon sugar
  6. Roll up tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces
  7. Place in dish, cover, let rise 30 minutes until puffy
  8. Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown
  9. Beat glaze ingredients and spread over warm rolls
