Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips High quality for smooth melting
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14-ounce standard size
  • ½ cup instant pistachio pudding mix Dry powder mix for color and flavor
  • 1 cup shelled pistachios Finely chopped for internal crunch
  • 1 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips For the rich top layer coating
  • 1 teaspoon butter Melted with dark chips for a glossy finish

Equipment

  • 1 Square Baking Pan 8-inch size lined with parchment paper
  • 1 Medium saucepan For melting the white chocolate base
  • 1 Rubber spatula Perfect for folding in the chopped nuts

Method

  1. Combine your white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk inside a medium saucepan over low heat.
  2. Stir the mixture continuously until the white chips are completely dissolved into a smooth consistency.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the stove heat immediately to prevent the delicate chocolate from scorching.
  4. Whisk the dry pistachio pudding mix into the warm liquid base until the green tint is uniform.
  5. Fold your finely chopped pistachios into the green dough using a rubber spatula to distribute crunch.
  6. Press the green fudge base evenly into a lined square pan, smoothing out the top surface flat.
  7. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips smoothly and pour them slowly over the green pistachio layer surface.
  8. Chill the assembled baking pan inside your refrigerator for two hours until firmly set before slicing clean.

Notes

Slicing the fudge block with a hot, clean chef's knife melts the chocolate layer slightly, preventing it from cracking or smudging into the green base below.
