- Preheat oven 350°F, grease and flour cake pan thoroughly
- Butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes
- Eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract until combined
- Flour mixture and pineapple juice alternately, begin and end with flour
- Pour into prepared pan, bake 65-75 minutes until golden
- In pan 15 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack completely
- Whisk powdered sugar, pineapple juice, butter, vanilla until smooth
- Pour glaze over cooled cake, garnish with fresh pineapple chunks
