Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 Onion Large, diced
  • 1 Bell pepper Diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 can Tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 2 cups Elbow macaroni Uncooked
  • 2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

Equipment

  • 1 Large Skillet or Dutch Oven With lid, for one-pot cooking
  • 1 Wooden spoon For stirring beef and pasta
  • 1 Sharp knife To dice onion and bell pepper
  • 1 Can opener For opening canned tomatoes/sauce

Method
 

  1. Heat large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  2. Brown ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks; season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion and bell pepper; cook until soft. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute.
  4. Stir in tomato paste; cook 2 minutes. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, broth, and seasonings.
  5. Bring to a boil. Add macaroni, stir, cover, and simmer 12–15 minutes until pasta is tender.
  6. Stir in cheese until melted. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
