  • cup Honey or maple syrup Natural sweetener and binder
  • ¼ cup Ground flaxseed Adds fiber and omega-3s
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract For flavor
  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances flavor
  • ½ cup Freeze dried blueberries Crushed for color and flavor
  • ¼ cup Fresh or frozen blueberries Chopped for texture
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest Optional, for brightness
  • 2 tablespoon Chia seeds Optional add-in
  • ¼ cup Mini chocolate chips Optional sweet addition

Method
 

  1. Pulse oats in food processor until coarsely ground.
  2. Add protein powder, almond butter, honey, flaxseed, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Process until mixture comes together but still chunky.
  4. Stir in crushed freeze dried and chopped fresh blueberries.
  5. Transfer to bowl; refrigerate 20–30 minutes.
  6. Scoop 1 inch portions and roll into smooth balls.
  7. Place on parchment sheet; refrigerate 1 hour until firm.
