Equipment

  • 1 Long serrated knife (for slicing rolls horizontally)
  • 1 Baking Sheet (or 9x13 pan, lined optional)
  • 1 Small bowl (for butter mix)
  • 1 Pastry brush (to brush butter)
  • 1 Sharp knife (to cut sliders)
  • 1 Spatula (to lift/serve)

Ingredients

  • 12 count Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls - keep connected
  • 12 slices American cheese - or 2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 4 tablespoon butter - melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon parsley - chopped (optional)

Instructions 

  • Rest 2 minutes, then cut along roll lines into 12 mini sliders. Serve warm.
  • Layer: Put the bottom slab on a baking sheet. Cover evenly with cheese (overlap slices if needed).
  • Top: Place the top slab back on, aligning the rolls. Press gently.
  • Butter: Mix melted butter + garlic powder (add parsley if using). Brush generously over the top.
  • Bake: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  • Cut: Rest 2 minutes, then cut along roll lines into 12 mini sliders. Serve warm.
