Instructions
Place blackberries and maple syrup in a cocktail shaker and muddle until juicy.
Add bourbon, lemon juice, and ice to the shaker.
Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until cold.
Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with a fresh blackberry and lemon wedge before serving.
Notes
Double strain the drink to remove blackberry seeds for a smoother texture. Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor brightness.
