  • 3 tablespoon butter - divided use
  • 4 cloves garlic - minced
  • 0.5 cup sun-dried tomatoes - chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream - base for sauce
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth - adds depth
  • 0.75 cup grated parmesan cheese - freshly grated for best texture
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning - adds herby flavor
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes - optional heat
  • 0.25 cup white wine - optional for deglazing
  • 2 cups fresh spinach - optional add-in
  • fresh basil - for garnish

Instructions 

  • Pat shrimp dry, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Cook shrimp in butter 2 minutes per side, remove.
  • Add butter and garlic, cook 30 seconds.
  • Stir in sun-dried tomatoes for flavor base.
  • Add broth and white wine, scrape browned bits.
  • Pour in cream, add parmesan, herbs, and red pepper flakes.
  • Cook until thickened and creamy.
  • Return shrimp to pan, coat in sauce.
  • Stir in spinach if using, cook 1–2 minutes.
