Main Ingredients

  • 4 large Boneless, skinless chicken breasts - pounded to even thickness
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • Salt and black pepper - to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh basil - chopped
  • 1 ½ cups Marinara sauce - quality brand preferred
  • 8 oz Fresh mozzarella cheese - sliced thick
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese - freshly grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic - minced
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • Fresh basil leaves - for garnish
  • Cherry tomatoes - halved, optional
  • Extra Parmesan - for sprinkling

Instructions 

  • Pound chicken breasts to even thickness.
  • Rub with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil and sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden.
  • Transfer chicken to a plate and tent with foil.
  • Sauté garlic, then add marinara, balsamic, oregano; simmer briefly.
  • Return chicken, top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  • Bake at 400°F for 15–20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and chicken cooked.
  • Rest 5 minutes, garnish with basil and cherry tomatoes, serve hot.
