Ingredients

  • 8 oz club soda Chilled completely
  • 2 tablespoon Irish cream flavoring syrup Nonalcoholic coffee syrup
  • 1 drop green food coloring Liquid or gel
  • 2 tablespoon heavy whipping cream Very cold
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup For drizzling inside the glass
  • 2 tablespoon whipped cream For topping
  • 1 teaspoon chocolate shavings For garnish
  • 1 sprig fresh mint For garnish
  • ice cubes To fill the glass

Equipment

  • 1 Tall serving glass For layering the beverage
  • 1 Measuring spoons For accurate syrup portions
  • 1 Long stirring spoon or straw For mixing the layers before drinking

Method

  1. Place the serving glass in the freezer for ten minutes to chill the cup so the syrup sticks perfectly.
  2. Drizzle the chocolate syrup along the inside walls of the cold glass to create beautiful decorative drips.
  3. Fill the decorated glass entirely to the top with clear ice cubes to ensure the beverage stays incredibly frosty.
  4. Mix the club soda, Irish cream syrup, and green food coloring in a small pitcher to create the vibrant green base.
  5. Pour the green soda mixture over the ice until the glass is about two-thirds full.
  6. Pour the cold heavy cream gently over the ice to create a distinct, thick white layer floating on top.
  7. Pipe a tall swirl of whipped cream over the heavy cream layer to finish the top of the drink beautifully.
  8. Garnish with chocolate shavings and a fresh mint sprig before serving immediately with a stirring straw.

Notes

Freeze your serving glasses for ten minutes before adding the chocolate syrup drips; the cold glass helps the syrup stick to the sides without washing away into the soda.
