  • 1 Baking Sheet (Rimmed)
  • 1 Serrated knife (For cutting bread)
  • 1 Pastry brush (Silicone preferred)
  • 1 Cheese Grater (Box grater)
  • 1 Small bowl (For butter mix)

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Hawaiian sweet rolls - 12 count, keep connected
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese - Block style, shredded
  • ½ cup unsalted butter - Melted
  • 4 cloves garlic - Minced finely
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley - Chopped
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese - Grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt - Seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper - Seasoning

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut deep slits between the rolls without slicing all the way through.
  • Stuff the shredded mozzarella cheese into the cuts between the rolls.
  • Whisk melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Brush the butter mixture generously over the rolls and top with parmesan.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Serve hot, optionally with extra garlic butter or marinara for dipping.

Notes

Grate the mozzarella from a block for the best melt and cheese pull. Tent with foil if the tops brown too quickly before the cheese melts.
