Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Hawaiian sweet rolls 12 count, keep connected
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese Block style, shredded
  • ½ cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced finely
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley Chopped
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese Grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt Seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper Seasoning

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet Rimmed
  • 1 Serrated knife For cutting bread
  • 1 Pastry brush Silicone preferred
  • 1 Cheese Grater Box grater
  • 1 Small bowl For butter mix

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut deep slits between the rolls without slicing all the way through.
  3. Stuff the shredded mozzarella cheese into the cuts between the rolls.
  4. Whisk melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Brush the butter mixture generously over the rolls and top with parmesan.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Serve hot, optionally with extra garlic butter or marinara for dipping.

Notes

Grate the mozzarella from a block for the best melt and cheese pull. Tent with foil if the tops brown too quickly before the cheese melts.
