- Spray a standard twelve cup muffin tin generously with nonstick cooking oil to prevent sticking.
- Press one slice of deli ham firmly into each greased muffin cup to form a base.
- Sprinkle a small handful of shredded cheddar cheese into each ham cup evenly.
- Crack one large egg carefully directly into the center of each lined cup.
- Season the top of each raw egg with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until the egg whites are completely set and edges crisp.
- Remove the pan from the oven and let the warm muffin cups rest briefly.
- Run a butter knife around the edges to release each warm cup before serving.

Grease the muffin tin thoroughly so the baked ham and egg bites release easily without sticking.
