Equipment

  • 1 Rolling Pin (Essential for flattening bread evenly)
  • 1 Sharp knife (For removing crusts cleanly)
  • 1 Pastry brush (For applying melted butter)
  • 1 Air fryer or baking sheet (For cooking roll ups)
  • 1 Cutting board (For bread preparation)

Ingredients

  • 8 slices white sandwich bread - Crusts removed
  • 4 tablespoons butter - Melted for brushing
  • 8 slices American cheese - Or sharp cheddar
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder - Optional seasoning
  • 1 pinch salt - To taste
  • ½ cup marinara sauce - For dipping

Instructions 

  • Remove crusts and flatten bread slices with rolling pin until thin
  • Place one cheese slice on each flattened bread piece
  • Roll up tightly from one end, pressing seam to seal
  • Brush all sides of roll ups with melted butter
  • Air fry at 375°F for 6-8 minutes or bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes
  • Flip halfway through cooking for even browning
  • Cool briefly and serve with marinara sauce for dipping

Notes

Customize with your favorite cheese or add thinly sliced ham or turkey before rolling for variety. Great for picky eaters!
