Ingredients

Peach Base

  • 4 large ripe peaches - Peeled and pitted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar - For peach base
  • ¼ cup water - For syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice - For peach base

Lemonade

  • ¾ cup fresh lemon juice - About 5-6 large lemons
  • ½ cup granulated sugar - For lemonade
  • 5 cups cold water
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • fresh peach slices - For garnish
  • fresh mint sprigs - For garnish
  • lemon wheels - For garnish

Instructions 

  • Peaches in boiling water 1 minute, ice bath
  • Remove skins, pit, and roughly chop peaches
  • Peaches with sugar, water, lemon juice 10 minutes
  • Peach mixture 8-10 minutes until soft
  • For smooth or mash for chunky texture
  • Peach puree completely before mixing
  • Sugar in fresh lemon juice in pitcher
  • Cooled peach base with lemon mixture
  • Cold water slowly while stirring
  • Over ice with fresh peach and mint garnish

Notes

For a stronger peach flavor, let the base sit overnight in the fridge. Garnish ideas: grilled peach slices or basil leaves for a twist!
