Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond flour - Super fine
  • ½ cup Protein powder - Chocolate
  • ¼ cup Cocoa powder - Unsweetened
  • 2 large Eggs - Room temp
  • cup Almond milk - Unsweetened
  • ¼ cup Maple syrup - Or honey
  • ½ cup Dark chocolate chips - For glaze
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil - For glaze

Instructions 

  • Whisk almond flour, protein powder, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Stir in eggs, milk, syrup, and vanilla until smooth batter forms.
  • Pipe batter into greased donut pan, filling ¾ full.
  • Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes until set; cool on wire rack.
  • Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil and dip cooled donuts into the glaze.
  • Let glaze set on the wire rack before serving.

Notes

Add coconut oil to the chocolate chips for a shiny, professional glaze. Be careful not to overbake to keep the donuts moist.
