Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough Refrigerated or homemade
  • 1.5 cups Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese Grated, divided
  • ½ cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For flavor
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley Chopped
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano Herb
  • 1 pinch coarse salt Garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Baking dish 9x13 inch
  • 1 Pastry brush For butter
  • 1 Sharp knife Or dental floss

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Whisk melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, parsley, and oregano.
  2. Roll dough into a rectangle. Brush with half the butter; sprinkle with mozzarella and half the parmesan.
  3. Roll dough into a log and slice into 12 pieces. Arrange in a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Brush hot rolls with remaining butter and top with remaining parmesan and salt.

Notes

Use unflavored dental floss to cut the rolls cleanly without squishing the dough. Brush with butter immediately after baking for a glossy finish.
