  • 1 9x13 baking dish (Lightly greased)
  • 1 Whisk (Smooth sauce)

Ingredients

Beef Layer

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion - diced
  • 3 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic - minced
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese - grated
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper - to taste

Assembly

  • 1 lb bacon - cooked crispy + crumbled
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese - shredded
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese - shredded
  • ½ cup crispy fried onions - optional
  • fresh parsley - garnish

Instructions 

  • Sprinkle parsley, slice, and serve hot.
  • Brown Beef: Cook ground beef with diced onion. Add garlic, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, paprika. Drain well.
  • Make Sauce: Melt butter, sauté garlic, whisk in flour 1 minute. Slowly whisk in milk, then parmesan + Italian seasoning. Simmer until thick; season.
  • Layer One: Spread half the beef in a greased 9x13 dish. Add half the bacon + half the cheeses. Drizzle half the sauce.
  • Layer Two: Repeat with remaining beef, bacon, cheeses, and remaining sauce.
  • Top: Optional add crispy fried onions on top.
  • Bake: Bake at 375°F for 25–30 minutes until bubbly. Rest 10 minutes.
  • Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle parsley, slice, and serve hot.
