Ingredients
  

Beef Layer
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
Garlic Parmesan Sauce
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
Assembly
  • 1 lb bacon cooked crispy + crumbled
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ cup crispy fried onions optional
  • fresh parsley garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Large skillet For browning beef
  • 1 Medium saucepan For garlic parmesan sauce
  • 1 9x13 baking dish Lightly greased
  • 1 Whisk Smooth sauce
  • 1 Spatula Layering + serving

Method
 

  1. Sprinkle parsley, slice, and serve hot.
  2. Brown Beef: Cook ground beef with diced onion. Add garlic, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, paprika. Drain well.
  3. Make Sauce: Melt butter, sauté garlic, whisk in flour 1 minute. Slowly whisk in milk, then parmesan + Italian seasoning. Simmer until thick; season.
  4. Layer One: Spread half the beef in a greased 9x13 dish. Add half the bacon + half the cheeses. Drizzle half the sauce.
  5. Layer Two: Repeat with remaining beef, bacon, cheeses, and remaining sauce.
  6. Top: Optional add crispy fried onions on top.
  7. Bake: Bake at 375°F for 25–30 minutes until bubbly. Rest 10 minutes.
  8. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle parsley, slice, and serve hot.
