Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Equipment

  • Large cast iron skillet (Or heavy-bottomed pan)
  • Sharp knife (For cutting steak cubes)
  • Cutting board (For prep work)
  • Paper towels (For drying steak)
  • Tongs (For easy flipping)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak - Cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves fresh garlic - Minced fine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley - Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme - Or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions 

  • Cut steak into cubes, pat dry, season generously
  • Cast iron skillet over medium-high until smoking
  • Steak cubes 2-3 minutes per side until browned
  • Heat to medium-low, add butter to pan
  • Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds until fragrant
  • Toss with herbs and Worcestershire sauce
  • Remove from heat, let rest 5 minutes
  • While hot with favorite sides

Notes

Use a hot pan and dry steak for best sear. Sirloin is great, but you can sub with NY strip or ribeye too.
