  • 6 Large eggs Room temp preferred
  • 0.5 cup Milk or cream Whole milk or half-and-half
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil Or butter
  • Salt & pepper To taste; season eggs and veggies
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Cheddar, mozzarella, feta, or your pick
  • 1-2 cups Cooked vegetables Spinach, mushrooms, peppers, etc.
  • 0.5 cup Cooked protein Optional: bacon, sausage, or ham
  • Fresh herbs Optional: parsley, thyme, or basil

Equipment

  • 1 Cast iron skillet Oven-safe, 9–10 inch
  • 1 Mixing bowl For whisking eggs
  • 1 Whisk Or fork
  • 1 Measuring Cup For milk or cream
  • 1 Oven Preheated to 375°F (190°C)
  • 1 Spatula To fold in fillings

Method
 

  1. Sauté chopped vegetables until tender and let cool.
    Sautéed onions and peppers in a skillet for a homemade frittata recipe, lightly cooked and fragrant.
  2. Beat eggs with milk, salt, and pepper until frothy.
