Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe yellow peaches Pitted and puréed smooth
  • 1 cup pure pomegranate juice Adds tart depth and color
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice Provides classic citrus sourness
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar Dissolved into simple syrup
  • 3 cups cold water Dilutes the juice base
  • 2 cups ice cubes For chilling the pitcher

Method
 

  1. Heat sugar and one cup of water in a saucepan until dissolved.
  2. Purée pitted yellow peaches in a blender until completely smooth.
  3. Strain the peach purée through a mesh sieve into a small bowl.
  4. Combine cold water, lemon juice, and pomegranate juice in a pitcher.
  5. Stir the cooled simple syrup into the pitcher until well combined.
  6. Whisk the smooth peach purée gently into the red citrus liquid.
  7. Add ice cubes and fresh lemon slices to the pitcher before serving.

Notes

Roll the lemons firmly on the counter before juicing to extract the maximum amount of citrus liquid easily.
