Ingredients
  

  • 200 g Digestive biscuits Or graham crackers
  • 100 g Unsalted butterMelted
  • 1 pinch Salt (Optional)
Caramel Layer:
  • 400 g Sweetened condensed milk One can
  • 50 g Brown sugar Light or dark
  • 50 g Unsalted butter Cubed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (Optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon Sea salt Balances sweetness
Filling & Topping:
  • 3 Bananas Ripe but firm
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Prevents browning
  • 250 ml Heavy whipping cream Chilled
  • 2 tablespoon Powdered sugar Adjust to taste
  • 25 g Dark chocolate Grated or shaved

Equipment

  • 1 9-inch pie dish Can use a springform pan
  • 1 Food processor For crushing biscuits
  • 1 Measuring Cup For pressing crust evenly
  • 1 Medium saucepan For making caramel
  • 1 Wooden spoon For stirring caramel
  • 1 Hand mixer or whisk For whipping cream

Method
 

  1. Crush biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter and salt.
    Press into a 9-inch pie dish and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat condensed milk, brown sugar, and butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring constantly for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
    Stir in vanilla and salt.
  3. Pour the caramel over the chilled crust, spreading evenly.
    Refrigerate until set (at least 4 hours or overnight).
  4. Cut bananas into even slices and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  5. Beat heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  6. Layer banana slices over the set caramel, then spread whipped cream on top.
  7. Sprinkle with grated chocolate, slice, and serve immediately.
