Ingredients
  

  • 4 scoops Vanilla ice cream Pre-scooped frozen solid
  • 2 cups Cornflakes Crushed
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar Mixed with cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon For flavor
  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances taste
  • 2 Egg whites Lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Mixed into egg wash
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract For extra flavor
  • Cooking spray Light mist before air frying

Equipment

  • 1 Air fryer 3+ quart size recommended
  • 1 Ice cream scoop For uniform balls
  • 1 Baking Sheet Must fit in the freezer
  • 1 Parchment paper Prevents sticking
  • 2 Small bowls One for egg wash, one for coating
  • 1 Food processor (optional) For finer cornflake crumbs
  • 1 Silicone tongs To remove ice cream from air fryer

Method
 

  1. Scoop ice cream balls and freeze for 2 hours.
  2. Crush cornflakes and mix with cinnamon-sugar.
  3. Whisk egg whites, honey, and vanilla in a bowl.
  4. Dip frozen ice cream ball into egg wash.
  5. Roll in crushed cornflakes, pressing firmly.
  6. Freeze coated balls for 30 minutes.
  7. Repeat coating process for extra crunch.
  8. Freeze overnight for best results.
  9. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  10. Lightly spray coated balls with oil.
  11. Air fry for 2-3 minutes.
  12. Serve immediately with toppings.
