Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts - sliced into thin cutlets
  • 1 teaspoon salt - for seasoning chicken
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper - for flavor
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder - adds aroma
  • 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning - classic flavor base
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour - first coating
  • 2 large eggs - beaten for dredging
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs - adds crunch
  • 0.5 cup grated parmesan cheese - mixed with breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil - optional for extra flavor
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano - optional for aroma
  • 1 cup marinara sauce - for topping
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese - melts over chicken

Instructions 

  • Slice and pound chicken into even cutlets; season well.
  • Prepare dishes for flour, eggs, and breadcrumb mix.
  • Dredge in flour, dip in egg, coat with panko mix.
  • Spray basket, add chicken, air fry 10 minutes at 380°F.
  • Flip chicken, spoon marinara on top.
  • Top with mozzarella and air fry 3–5 minutes more.
