  • 2 cans (8 oz each) Refrigerated crescent rolls Unrolled and sealed
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil or cooking spray To grease baking sheet
  • 1 lb Ground beef or turkey Cooked and seasoned
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Taco seasoning Divided use
  • 0.25 cup Water For taco meat
  • 1 can (16 oz) Refried beans Warmed until spreadable
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream For creamy base
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese For topping
  • 2 cups Shredded iceberg lettuce For freshness
  • 1 cup Diced Roma tomatoes Fresh topping
  • 0.5 cup Sliced black olives Optional
  • 0.25 cup Sliced green onions For garnish
  • Extra sour cream For drizzling
  • Salsa For serving

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease sheet.
  2. Unroll crescents, press seams, form base.
  3. Bake 10–12 min until golden, then cool.
  4. Brown beef, add taco seasoning and water.
  5. Heat refried beans until spreadable.
  6. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning.
  7. Add cream mix, then beans over cooled crust.
  8. Spoon warm taco meat evenly.
  9. Sprinkle shredded cheese over meat.
  10. Add lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and onions.
  11. Cut into squares and drizzle with sour cream.
