Method
- Whisk cocoa, sugar, water, salt in a small saucepan. Simmer 2 minutes, then stir in vanilla and remove from heat.
- Brush mug rim with a little chocolate sauce, then dip into graham cracker crumbs.
- Pull 2 espresso shots (or brew strong coffee).
- Heat/froth milk until hot and foamy.
- Add 2 tablespoon chocolate sauce to the mug, pour in espresso, then top with steamed milk.
- Spoon whipped cream on top and sprinkle a pinch of graham crumbs and chocolate shavings.
- Add mini marshmallows on top (skip torching indoors—use marshmallow fluff or pre-toasted marshmallows if you want that flavor).
Notes
For a stronger coffee flavor, use dark roast beans or 3 espresso shots. You can also serve iced—just cool the espresso and use cold milk and ice cubes.
