Method
 

  1. Combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pat shrimp dry and toss with spice blend to coat evenly.
  3. Heat oil in cast iron skillet until smoking; sear shrimp 2 minutes per side.
  4. Add butter, mushrooms, and onion to skillet; cook until softened.
  5. Stir in garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  6. Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir to coat.
  7. Whisk in beef broth and cream, simmer until thickened.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce.
  9. Return shrimp to pan and toss in sauce until coated.
