  • 12 oz Bowtie pasta Farfalle shape
  • 1 cup Heavy cream For alfredo sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Unsalted preferred
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced fresh
  • 1 medium Yellow onion Diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Dried herb blend
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper Freshly ground
  • 0.25 cup Fresh parsley Chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain
  2. Cook ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until crumbly
  3. Add diced onions to beef and cook until softened and translucent
  4. Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking until fragrant
  5. Remove excess fat from skillet and season with salt and pepper
  6. Add butter to beef mixture and reduce heat to medium-low
  7. Pour in heavy cream slowly while stirring constantly
  8. Bring to gentle simmer, stirring frequently for smooth consistency
  9. Gradually add parmesan cheese, whisking until melted and incorporated
  10. Continue cooking until sauce coats the back of spoon
  11. Add cooked pasta to skillet and toss until completely coated
  12. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately while hot
