Ingredients

  • 4 bagels - Sliced in half
  • 8 oz cream cheese - Softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese - Shredded
  • 6 slices bacon - Cooked and chopped
  • 2 tablespoon fresh chives - Chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder - Seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder - Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter - Melted

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush sliced bagels with melted butter and toast for 3-4 minutes.
  • Mix cream cheese, half the cheddar, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
  • Spread mixture onto bagels; top with remaining cheddar and chopped bacon.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly. Garnish with chives.

Notes

Pre-toast the bagels slightly before adding the topping to ensure they stay crispy. Use freshly grated cheddar cheese for the best melting consistency.
