  • 4 bagels Sliced in half
  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 6 slices bacon Cooked and chopped
  • 2 tablespoon fresh chives Chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder Seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter Melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush sliced bagels with melted butter and toast for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Mix cream cheese, half the cheddar, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
  3. Spread mixture onto bagels; top with remaining cheddar and chopped bacon.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly. Garnish with chives.

Notes

Pre-toast the bagels slightly before adding the topping to ensure they stay crispy. Use freshly grated cheddar cheese for the best melting consistency.
