  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies For filling
  • 4 oz cream cheese Softened
  • ¼ cup butter Softened for frosting
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar For frosting
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For frosting
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk For frosting consistency
  • additional crushed cookies For topping

Method
 

  1. Let rise 30 minutes, bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until golden
  2. Blue - Add warm milk, butter, egg, and blue food coloring to dry ingredients
  3. Knead - Mix until smooth blue dough forms, knead until elastic
  4. Rise - Let dough rise in warm place for 1 hour until doubled
  5. Roll - Roll risen dough into rectangle, spread with butter and filling
  6. Fill - Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and crushed cookies over dough
  7. Shape - Roll tightly, cut into 12 pieces, place in greased pan
  8. Bake - Let rise 30 minutes, bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until golden
