  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Divided
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Dried herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt For filling
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper For filling
  • ½ cup beef broth For baking dish

Method
 

  1. Cut pepper tops, remove seeds and membranes completely
  2. Brush peppers with oil, season with salt inside and out

  5. Fill peppers generously with beef mixture, pack gently
  6. Place in baking dish with broth, cover with foil
  7. Cook 35-40 minutes until peppers are tender when pierced
  8. Top with remaining cheese, bake 10 minutes until melted
