Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked chicken Shredded or cubed
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots 32 oz bag
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup 1 standard can
  • 1 cup sour cream Full fat for creaminess
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix 1 oz packet
  • ½ cup milk To thin sauce
  • ½ cup bacon bits Cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives Chopped garnish
  • 2 tablespoon Ranch dressing For drizzling

Equipment

  • 1 9x13 baking dish Standard casserole dish
  • 1 Mixing bowl Large size
  • 1 Spatula For spreading

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Mix soup, sour cream, milk, ranch packet, and spices in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in chicken and bacon until fully coated.
  4. Spread chicken mixture in dish; top with cheddar cheese and tater tots.
  5. Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes until tots are crispy and golden.
  6. Drizzle with ranch dressing and garnish with chives before serving.

Notes

Do not cover with foil while baking to ensure the tater tots get super crispy. Use rotisserie chicken for a faster prep.
