Ingredients
  

  • 1 box brownie mix 18.3 oz family size
  • 3 large eggs One more than box directions
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil Less than box directions
  • ¼ cup water Room temperature
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips Optional but recommended
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional
  • cooking spray For waffle iron

Equipment

  • Belgian waffle maker Regular waffle iron works too
  • Large mixing bowl For brownie batter
  • Measuring cups Liquid and dry measures
  • Silicone spatula For removing waffles safely

Method
 

  1. Preheat waffle iron, mix batter
  2. Add chocolate chips, vanilla
  3. Pour batter, close iron
  4. Remove carefully, serve warm

Notes

For best results, slightly undercook the waffles if you like them extra fudgy. They crisp up a bit as they cool. You can freeze and reheat them too!
