Method
- Mix warm milk, yeast, sugar, butter, egg, salt, and flour; knead until smooth. Rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle; spread with softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Roll tight, cut into 12 rolls, and let rise in a pan for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes. Meanwhile, cook bacon until crispy.
- Whisk powdered sugar, maple syrup, and bourbon. Pour over warm rolls and top with bacon.
Notes
Cook the bacon until extra crispy so it adds a crunch to the soft rolls. Glaze the rolls while warm, but add the bacon immediately so it sticks.
