Blue Christmas Truffles are creamy no-bake white chocolate truffles tinted bright blue and rolled in sparkling sanding sugar for a wintery holiday treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened (1 package)
  • 3 cups white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon blue gel food coloring start small, add more to desired shade
  • 1 ½ cups blue sparkling sanding sugar coating
  • ½ cup white sparkling sugar optional “snow” effect
  • blue sanding sugar as needed for serving platter
Optional Add-ins
  • ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • ¼ cup crushed peppermint candies mix into coating
  • silver edible glitter as desired

Equipment

  • 1 Microwave-safe bowl For melting white chocolate
  • 1 Rubber spatula For mixing smooth
  • 1 Small Cookie Scoop Helps make uniform balls
  • 2 Shallow bowls For rolling sugars
  • 1 Baking Sheet Lined with parchment

Method
 

  1. Combine white chocolate chips and butter; microwave in short bursts, stir until smooth
  2. Stir in softened cream cheese until fully combined
  3. Mix in vanilla extract and salt
  4. Add blue gel coloring gradually until desired shade
  5. Refrigerate 2–3 hours until firm enough to scoop
  6. Portion mixture and roll into balls
  7. Roll in blue/white sanding sugar; gently press to adhere
  8. Chill 30 minutes before serving

Notes

You can add peppermint extract or crushed peppermint candies for a festive twist. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
