Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese - Softened
  • ½ cup sour cream - Full fat
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar - For base
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest - Freshly grated
  • 1.5 cups fresh cranberries - Or frozen
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar - For sauce
  • ¼ cup water - Or orange juice
  • 1 sprig rosemary - Fresh
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - For flavor

Instructions 

  • Simmer cranberries, sugar, water, and rosemary in a saucepan until berries burst and thicken.
  • Beat cream cheese, sour cream, powdered sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest until smooth.
  • Spread cheese mixture into a 9-inch baking dish.
  • Spoon the cranberry sauce over the cheese layer.
  • Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until bubbly. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth base. Serve warm with sturdy crackers or baguette slices.
