  • ½ cup Unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs Room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Add after removing from heat
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour Do not overpack
  • ½ cup Cocoa powder Preferably Dutch-processed
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Espresso powder Optional enhances chocolate
  • ½ cup Chocolate chips Or chunks
Boxed Mix Option
  • 1 box Brownie mix Any preferred brand
  • Oil, water, eggs As per package instructions
  • ½ cup Chocolate chips (Optional) mix-in

Equipment

  • 1 Air fryer Basket or oven-style
  • 1 Baking pan Sized to fit in air fryer
  • 1 Mixing bowl Medium-sized

Method
 

  1. Melt butter and whisk with sugar.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, stir gently.
  3. Fold in flour, cocoa, salt, and espresso powder.
  4. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Line air fryer-safe baking pan with parchment.
  6. Pour batter in and smooth top.
  7. Air fry at 325°F for 15–20 minutes.
  8. Toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
  9. Let brownies rest 10–15 minutes before lifting.
  10. Cool completely before slicing.
