Ingredients

From Scratch Option

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter - Melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs - Room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract - Add after removing from heat
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour - Do not overpack
  • ½ cup Cocoa powder Preferably - Dutch-processed
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Espresso powder - Optional enhances chocolate
  • ½ cup Chocolate chips - Or chunks

Boxed Mix Option

  • 1 box Brownie mix - Any preferred brand
  • Oil, water, eggs - As per package instructions
  • ½ cup Chocolate chips - (Optional) mix-in

Instructions 

  • Melt butter and whisk with sugar.
  • Add eggs and vanilla, stir gently.
  • Fold in flour, cocoa, salt, and espresso powder.
  • Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  • Line air fryer-safe baking pan with parchment.
  • Pour batter in and smooth top.
  • Air fry at 325°F for 15–20 minutes.
  • Toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
  • Let brownies rest 10–15 minutes before lifting.
  • Cool completely before slicing.
