Ingredients
  

  • 2 Ripe bananas the better!
  • 1 ½ cups Flour Can substitute with whole wheat.
  • ½ cup Butter/oil Butter Can use oil for dairy-free.
  • ½ cup Brown sugar Adds moisture and flavor.
  • 1 Egg Large Can substitute with flax egg.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Adds flavor depth.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda Helps bread rise.
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt Enhances sweetness.

Equipment

  • 1 9x5 loaf pan A standard loaf pan works best for even baking
  • 1 Large mixing bowl To mix wet and dry ingredients
  • 1 Fork or potato masher For mashing the bananas, Max’s favorite tool!

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Grease loaf pan
  3. Mash 2 ripe bananas
  4. Mix wet ingredients (butter, sugar, egg, vanilla)
  5. Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt)
  6. Combine wet and dry ingredients
  7. Pour batter into pan and smooth top
  8. Tap pan to release air bubbles
  9. Bake for 45-55 minutes, check with a toothpick
  10. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack
